And for all that, and the resultant pain, he didn&#039;t manage to extract it!The scar is almost invisible unless you know where it is. Just came from surgeon&#039;s office where he extracted the bot fly with tweezers.  I was in Costa Rica 8 weeks ago and had a mosquito bite on my hand that would not heal.  8 weeks later the alien appeared.  No one was able to id it at the clinic--had course of antibiotics and saw a wound specialist.  How does your wound look now?  Will I have a bad scar?
