The chaps at Cam-Trax have come up with a rather nifty bit of software that can turn practically any easily visible object and a cheap webcam into a game or PC controller.
I wish I could code that sort of stuff….
Now I’ll get back to working on SQL queries when I should actually be out partying…
If you’re a WordPress user, this theme is available freely for your own website. It’s a cinch to customise, and I’ll be playing with mine over time so watch this space, and you can download it for free from Interconnect IT’s Website.
It’s licensed as GPL v3, which means that you can change the theme as much as you like - you just have to maintain the credits to the original authors. The end result you see now follows a lot of hours of work and experience by myself and, most importantly, by James Whitehead, on WordPress development.
Pretty cool, and seem believable, a bit like those Eyetoy games… one question, on the last game, the First Person Shooter, the guy only had his two fingers. How was he moving around?
